Kanjo Spec.D Rear Hatch OE ULTRA Dampers use the same technology as our other dampers. They are incorporated with our ACTIVE DAMPER TECHNOLOGY (ADT).
What is ADT? As the damper approaches its highest point, it begins to slow down and softly stop.Eliminating the harsh backlash effect to your hinges.
These gas filled dampers are stronger than your OEM dampers. They can hold your OEM hatch with or without a small – large spoiler, and then telescope closed when needed. These specialized dampers were specifically designed for automoive rear hatches. The specialty dampers will take over the lifting duties once you lift your hatch to a certain height.
Designed with the Enthusiast in mind, the Kanjo Spec.D dampers were built for multiple OEM and aftermarket spoiler weight. It can also function perfectly if your hatch does not have a spoiler. The Kanjo Spec.D ADT is the first of its kind to know if there is a spoiler or not attached to the hatch. This unique design will lift your hatch up, then slow down as it reaches its maximum height.
DO NOT USE ON CARBON FIBER HATCH. You will cry!

Returned items must be undamaged, unmodified and uninstalled. PLEASE check all parts before installation, balancing, machining, painting, or modifying. Parts CANNOT be returned FOR ANY REASON after installation, modification, or painting. If a customer decides they no longer want the product after it was delivered, a 20% restock fee will be subtracted from their refund when the item(s) are returned. Return shipping is at the expense of the customer.
